Performance / Tour
Rated Best in Jazz in the San Gabriel Valley.
The 1881 Club is Pasadena’s oldest continuously running cocktail bar, established long ago when Washington Boulevard was still an unpaved dirt road. Proprietor Gail Casburn is a jazz lover who acquired the club in 2017. Casburn’s goal is to make the 1881 Club the premier jazz venue in the San Gabriel Valley.
Known for their large selection of craft cocktails and top shelf scotch and bourbons, the 1881 Club is a cozy place to gather, dance, chat, relax, and enjoy live music. Not only is 1881 a popular neighborhood destination with a great vibe, it has been presenting Jazz Nights to a packed audience every Wednesday and Friday evening. Jazz nights have brought in Grammy-winning and world class instrumentalists such as
