Seiki Yukimoto Soulbleed East Meets West—Exciting, Euphonious And Beyond Jazz

For music that stretches the borders of jazz, don’t miss internationally acclaimed trumpeter and composer Seiki Yukimoto with his band Soulbleed East Meets West performing as part of the Nublu Jazz Festival on September 19th. Well known for his passionate and exciting shows in Japan, full of improvised riffs and unique sounds, Mr Yukimoto brings his trumpet to New York for one night only. Playing with Mr Yukimoto will be his unique band composed of veteran jazz musicians who have shaped contemporary jazz by their innovative approaches and performances.

Spaceman Patterson will be grooving on his electric guitar, expect to hear those well-placed notes from Stanley Banks’ electric bass and Terry Burrus will be shaking up his keyboards. The percussion section includes drummer Craig Holiday Haynes as well as a Latin touch from Jose Luis Abreu percussion sounds and Newman Taylor Baker famous for playing his amplified washboard.
